This is somewhat off topic because it has nothing to do with real estate. But it does speak volumes on their value of providing above and beyond customer service no matter for whom or why. I was there yesterday simply to pick up and pay for something that this RE/MAX office offers as a courtesy for someone else. I met Pancho Simmons, who is in charge. He noticed my unusual set of writing implements in my pocket. We talked about them. From there, I went to San Francisco and Juarez for a stop at CI Banco, then OXXO and took a taxi home. Back at the house, I noticed my fountain pen was missing from my pocket. It fell out somewhere along the route. It’s rather valuable. I called Pancho and asked if it were possibly where I was sitting. To make a long story shorter, Pancho offered to walk and backtrack to the places I had been to see if it were there. That certainly is an unexpected gesture of kindness at gross inconvenience. I’m not even a client. But it shows where their heart is. And it’s very much appreciated. And, no. Pancho called and said no luck.

My recent experience with this office was very positive. As I was unable to come down to San Miguel at the time, I had to rely on Lane Simmons and Rossana Conte to handle every detail of the sale of my house there. Unexpected complications arose on my side, which required extra efforts on theirs, and without their help, understanding, and reassurance it would have been impossible to complete the sale. I found Rossana to be warm, caring, and scrupulous in attending to all aspects of the transaction, while Lane was a calm, steady, and reliable presence whenever his judgment was needed. An altogether trustworthy team.

The worst service I have ever received from a real estate agent (Rossana Conte) she sent me incorrect contracts over and over, at the end I had to contact directly the seller to close the deal.
